Menu Design

The Fork at Agate Bay, a fine-dining bistro in Bellingham, WA, was looking to further their brand by redesigning their menu.

The atmosphere and location is what sets The Fork apart. I took this into consideration by creating menu boards that reflected their location in the forest near the lake. I employed a local business to assist with laser engraving birch bark that I then coated with resin to display the beverage menu. I commissioned a local carpenter to mill the boards which I finished with a generous amount of elbow grease and some marine line to add a nautical touch.

The printed menu was inspired by vintage menu layout, a homage to the restaurants roots.
